It’s been kept under wraps for some time, but we can now talk about how proud we are of our little brother River, who at such a young age has set up his own charity. It’s called HUMEN and it helps men to improve their mental health. As we all know, we’re all hearing far too many tragic stories of men (and women) taking their own lives, often because they can’t be honest and open about how they’re feeling. HUMEN will aim to discourage people using the terms “Man Up” and “Grow some Balls” that suppress a male from expressing how they truly feel. This suppression can lead to other emotions such as anger & depression and a downhill spiral. Shouldn’t we all have the right to express how we feel in the same way? Whether you’re MALE or FEMALE – we should all be able to express the same emotions as we are all HUMAN after all! If anyone knows River, you’ll know that there are some big names and famous faces backing this (which are embargoed) for now, but it’s going to be awesome and we hope that this first fundraising event in conjunction with the World Famous Barry’s Bootcamp is to!
